To showcase the inimitable quality of our hand selected hop varieties, we have brewed a beer for each containing just that hop, named after the farm that grew them.
Carpenter Ranches are a six-generation farm in Granger, Washington, and with founder Charles Carpenter planting the very first hops in the Yakima Valley in 1868, they are somewhat of an institution. They’ve remained family-owned all this time, with Brad now running the show alongside a whole bunch of other Carpenters. During the harvest season, they work day and night, harvesting around 65 acres a day to ensure that hops are harvested in the correct window and in peak condition.
We chose Carpenter’s Citra for its aromatic intensity, leaning hard into the variety’s signature grapefruit character, with accompanying orange pith freshness and passionfruit pungency.

440ml can at Benny’s Place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, mineral, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, light herbal, light floral, light grapefruit citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small and fairly short lived pale cream colour head. Light palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodied pale malts but certainly sweet enough. So, Citra grown with extra care. Tastes a little brighter that Citra tends to these days. Orange and tangerine up front. A little mandarin. Touch of mango, always a good quality indicator for me. Something else on the back end but, pink grapefruit, slightly candyish. Okay, into very good Citra indeed than Light cooling pine throughout of course. No hop spice. Yeah, very good Citra indeed.

440ml can. Murky golden with a white head. Aroma of mandarin, grapefruit, mango, grape. Taste is quite intensely hopped for a Track IPA of this strength, mandarin, grapefruit, grape, mango, piney finish. Medium bodied.
Lovely crop of Citra.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with a white head that. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of apricot, straw and peach. Flavour of melon and orange cream. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Well balanced and easy to drink - despite being a heavily hopped beer.
