A highly hopped, moderate bodied beer which comes in at 5.2% ABV. The hops schedule includes healthy doses of Chinook, Cascade, and Amarillo, and is tuned perfectly to provide the hops bitterness explosion that IPA fans seek without a lingering bitter aftertaste.

pours hazy light yellow with a huge craggy head. Seems over carbonated. Aroma is cardboard and earthy, lightly citrusy hops. The flavor is, as expected, on the bitter side. It’s earthy and lightly citrusy. It’s pretty light bodied with malt subdued and somewhat grainy tasting.

12oz can thanks to weihenweizen. Gusher, pours amber with a huge off-white head, lots of lacing. Resin, cardboard, citrus and pine, herbal. Ok, it's trying to be an old school ipa.

Not good, with a weird tangy yeast undertone and muddled hop notes. Tons of white bread and lemon, accented by mild pine and hints of wood and copper. Came foaming out of the can like a dishwasher full of Dawn, and maintained this overly abundant carbonation throughout. Bad, and the name's in questionable taste.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small white head. A husky toast and leaf nose. Rich, mild bitterness, caramel, floral. Smooth, decent bitterness. Solid.

Can from Weihenweizen, thanks: pours brownish copper with a frothy head. Aroma is equally old school for an IPA: pine, some citrus, but nothing in the sense of talking about WCIPAs or NEIPAs, plenty of malt. Taste is somewhat bitter, low sweetness, piny, touch of citrus. Really old school. Drinkable enough.
