Draft at Café De Engelbewaarder, Amsterdam. Near clear amber with a big off white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, light citrus and fruity hop notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a fluffy pillow soft texture and soft carbonation. Pretty nice and definitely tops regular Palm.

Keg at Hotel Centrum, Beersel, 20/11/15. Clear golden with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is light citric peel, straw, grain, bread dough, floral notes. Taste comprises sweet malt, lemon rind, light wooded tones, stale bread, grain. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

On tap at ’Café De Engelbewaarder’. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, fluffy, slowly diminishing, tan to white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, sweet malts and a bit of honey. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, bread and a bit of honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and smooth mouthfeel, flat. Nice stuff.

Hazy, amber colored strong off white head. Aroma is fruity shake and bready. Taste follows the nose, malt, caramel, fruity, buttery and again some bready notes, yeast with a bready finish, low+ grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, somewhat watery texture, soft carbonation. Seems cleaner and less "shakey" than the regular Palm, also more bready notes. (on tap, ’t Brouwershuis, Steenhuffel, B)

(Draught at Engelbewaarder, Amsterdam, 24 Aug 2014) Hazy brownish yellow colour with dense, creamy, beige head. Malty, slightly spicy nose with bread, dark fruit and earthy aromas. Malty taste with note of bread, dark fruit, bread spices and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with creamy texture. Quite dry. Tasty, a bit spicy and fairly well balanced. Quite nice.
