12 oz bottle. No carbonation at all, flat. Wondering if I got a bad six pack. Drank two of them, both had no carbonation or head at all. Spicy wheat aroma, light fruity esters. Apple and clove are in the taste but with out any carbonation at all, it really degraded the brew. Could be much improved with Co2. I gave the other four bottles to my friend. The Ramstein Classic is WAY better then this brew. I wouldn’t buy again.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy gold with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma is clove. Med body; foamy carb. Flavor is primarily clove. It’s certainly not a dull beer. Seems to have grassish hop bitter. Finishes dryish.

Very cloudy orange yellowish pour in the glass. Full of distinct nose of nuts, flowers, resins, herbs and toast. Taste is a banana wheat. Body is a little on the light side. Rated 12/30/99 I should point out that this is one of the most inconsistent beers I’ve ever had. I’ve had batches of it that I’d rate as low as 2.0. My rating above is the beer in it’s heyday many years ago.

Nice super hazy orange coloured body with a very thin white head. Nearly opaque - nice! Aroma of peaches, apricots, wheat, yeast, coriander seed and some canned corn too! Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie taste with a light citrus taste and a prominent coriander seed flavour. Aftertaste shows the canned corn and the sweetness from curacao. Overall, a nice wheat - a bit still, but a good one for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 26-December-2005.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Thaichile. Pour is hazed and cloudy golden yellow with a nice 2 inch white head. There is a ton of carbonation bubbles. Nice looking beer. Aroma of fresh cut wheat, cloves, slight sourness, apple fruitiness and some floral earthiness underneath all of that. Fresh and inviting nose. Taste is the wheat, tart citric sourness (just enough) and a nice apple fruit sweetness. Some clove spiciness to the finish, which lingers. As with the nose, this tasted very fresh. Nice thirst quenching palate with cleansing carbonation. Superb, my kind of hefe. Thanks Mark.

Courtesy of Gillard. Pours murky straw to copper with almost no head. The aroma is lemon, spice, grains and wheat. The taste is tart with some acidity from citrus like lemon followed by wheat, mild banana and some spice notes as noticed in the nose. Pretty nice and the flavor seems to be on the bold side for the style.

Sampled on draft at the State College beer festival this beer poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is bubblegum and yeasty with a hint of banana. The flavor is bubblegum and banana with a light tangy finish.
