Tap at the Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels. Poured a murky medium brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is rich red berry fruit and some spice. The flavour is moderate sweet with a big rich fruity, Christmas pudding, light alcohol palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Ruby brown, some mocha. Nose is light varnish sharp, syrupy, soy sauce, mocha,… Taste is soy sauce, syrup, mocha, caramel syrup, light varnish, spices, some burned bitterness, fruits,… Soy sauce & syrup. A bit odd, sharp & too say sauce with varnish notes forward. Agreeable though.

[2/15/15] Draught at Toronado in San Francisco. 2009 edition. Nice clear amber color. Aroma of malt, caramel, cookies and some old hops. Sweet caramelly flavor with cookies, stale hops, a bit of alcohol and a bitter finish. Rounded mouthfeel.

Shared bottle with friends. Poured a light copper color. Aroma was citrus, with a touch of tart fruity notes. Slight funk perhaps. This one was very smooth, with just a touch of funk notes along with sweet malts. Interesting. Alcohol is pretty well hidden. Nice.

Bottle. It pours a small, beige head over an unclear reddish body. Some alcohol in the aroma, along with caramel maltyness, dried fruits and some hoppyness. Citrus hints, pine cone notes and a lightly spiced touch. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and quite silky on the palate. Nice balance between maltyness and bitterness and hoppy flavors. In comes the alcohol and adds more joy and smoothness. Overall, maybe a bit on the sweet side, but I still think it’s a really pleasant and tasteful beer. 120324
