Here is a father’s toast to his son. Brewed with cocoa nibs and lactose, Hunter boasts a creamy texture and rich chocolate flavor. Vanilla, roast, and caramel sweetness are met with a bright hop bitterness. Complex enough to pair with dinner or dessert. Suave enough to skip the meal altogether. A chip off the old block, alright.

Creamy light brown head stayed well on a jet black oily body. Lactose, demerara & dark spirits aroma. Medium to full bodied, creamy & super smooth - goes down like an oil slick. Cream, berry, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, malt, vanilla & cocoa tastes.

Can from BrewDog online. Black body with no head or lacing. Aroma of marshmallow, chocolate and nuts. Flavour of soy sauce, milk chocolate and caramel. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. There’s good flavour but there’s no head and it’s very thin.

Pours black, no real head. Small dark bubbles as a replacement. Smell is intense, lactose, creamy, roasted. Taste is full, lactose, dark malts, medium high intensity. Creamy, bit simple, but enjoyable.

440ml can from Boxbeers.dk. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Roasty, chocolaty malty, some tobacco in aroma. Milky smooth, vanilla notes, roasted malts and some tobacco. I like it that it's not very sweet despite the vanilla and the milky wibes. Dry long finish.

At a tasting, thanks, no head, trickly thick pour, opaque black coil like color, aroma of vanila toasted dark bread, light charred wood, fish sauce and black olives, charred wood and umami notes with bitter dark chocolate in the back, very sweet but still nicely mellow. Nice and highly enjoyable.
