Draft @ Hoppy Loft.

Tap at the Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is pumpkin, light doughy biscuit. The flavour is light bitter with a light , slightly watery smooth pumpkin palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A little one dimensional and im no fan of pumpkin but for some bizarre reason I actually liked this.

Draft at Delirium Hoppy Loft. Pours near clear orange with an off white head. Aroma of veggies, pumpkin, plastercine, yeast and weeds. Weird. Flavour is moderate sweet and and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Amber, little tanned head. Nose is far too heavy on iron, you get industrial cinnamon, pumpkin spice sweetness, caramel but the base seems too iron & industrial forward. Taste is iron, caramel, far too herbal, caramel, hay, pumpkin spices, cereal,.. Herbal, iron & sugar body. I like the standard pumpkin spices & the sweetness, the base far too iron forward & the taste is far too herbal. Too bad.

Bomber from the Bev-Mo in Folsom, CA. Pours clear copper with an off-white or near beige head. Aroma actually suggest roast/cooked pumpkin. Med body or less. I’m thinking this has no pie spice what so ever. Really. If you enjoy ingesting plain old pumpkin without butter and spice you should love this. Kudos to the brewers for this. I can now say I’ve actually tasted pumpkin in beer.

Draft at the Bistro, Hayward; called HMB Mavericks Pumpkin Ale. Nose is nutmeg, cinnamon, and light pumpkin with some floral notes. Clear orangish yellow with a very small pale yellow head. Flavor is lightly bitter, nutmeg, and some pumpkin.

Very low carbonation - feels like beer fresh from the fermenter. While the feel will probably be a big fault for most, I think it’s pleasant and makes for a nice change of pace. On the other hand, the feel probably holds back the intensity of the flavor to some degree. It’s a very mild beer. Bready, doughy, biscuity malt is the main flavor, particularly when it comes to taste. The aroma has more noticeable pumpkin notes. There’s some pumpkin pie spice to season the sweet, fresh pumpkin. Unfortunately, it’s just too weak and a bit sweet. There’s also a not-so-great vegetal flavor in there as well. Relatively easy to drink for the style.

Bottle. 2008 (3rd year? of brewing this). Amber beer with an off-white haed. Malty, light vegetal aroma with a hint of pumpkin pie spice. Malty, light vegetal flavor with some psice showing through and a bit of hops that shows it’s a pale ale, but clashes a bit with the pumpkin/spice. Medium-light bodied. Malt, spice, and some pumpkin lingers.
