Big Nose est brassée dans le style Triple à partir de malts d’orge Pilsner, Pale Ale et Munich. Cette bière de dégustation est produite avec une quantité généreuse de houblons Nugget et Willamette. Afin d’intensifier les notes aromatiques, la bière est infusée à froid (dry-hopping) avec du houblon alsacien Triskel pendant sa maturation. Cette blonde dorée se caractérise par une structure gustative complexe dont la puissance et l’équilibre raviront vos sens.

Hazy amber beverage, with a nice foamy white head with good retention. Smells like a typical Belgian pale ale, with yeast, fresh white bread and some citrus. The taste is nice, again, typical for a tripel. Maybe a bit harsher than the more famous ones, and with the alcohol being more present.

On tap at The Bottle Shop London. Amber colour thin white head. Some tripel elements some fruit some sweetness but oddly watery. Some biting hop finish. Hmm. Not my idea of a tripel. OK but needs more intense flavours. Warming alcohol.

Bottle @ Willems, Grobbendonk. Pours golden amber with a creamy white head. Sweet nose and flavor of nuts, toffee, peach and grass. Full bodied. Warmth. Sippable although far from mind blowing.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Cloudy golden. Aroma of fruity esters and a bit of spiciness. Sweetish fruity flavor, mildly spicy, with a bitterish hops finish, slightly citric. Medium-bodied.

Flaska från Beergium. En snygg modern trippel med fin fruktighet från humlen ihop med en annars ganska klassisk välgjord trippel. Lätt oljig, måttlig men tydlig beska, apelsinskal, friska men söta äpplen med viss skalbeska, tropisk frukt, honung, blommig och lätt kryddig belgisk jäst. Riktigt gott.

Draught. Light hazy deep amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of bread, raw sugar, light raisins, husks, grain and light fruit. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of caramel, raw sugar and light alcohol. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. All right.

Bottle at Bier Circus. It pours lightly hazy golden-amber with a thick white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, stewed orange, apple, candy, pear and candy. The taste is bitter-sweet, juicy, apple, pear, doughy, icing sugar, candy, cereal and toasty grainy with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not too sweet and rather drinkable. A very good tripel.

Bottle at Hoppy Loft, Brussels, Thursday 19th March 2015 A pretty decent Triple, that was until I did some weird balancing move with beer and hand and somehow managed to knock 3/4 of my beer over the floor. Even now I cannot see quite what I was doing, Loz looked at me and said ’what did you do that for’? as though beer chucking was a now a new pastime of mine. Anyway I hadn’t yet rated it and with none left I can’t now, but trust me it was pleasant. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Klares dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit einer schönen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr fruchtig malzig, hefig, würzig, etwas Citrus. Geschmack kräftig malzig, reife Früchte, Honig, Gewürze, bitter hopfig.
