We named this beer as a Halloween seasonal brew, but its refreshing taste makes it a year round staple. Zombie is made according to the Belgian Witbier tradition of using unmalted wheat to create the light body and white sheen. Additions of coriander and orange peel give Zombie a fruity and spicy character, while the hops are subtle and lightly detected. Don’t be scared to crush some Zombies!

Can. Light cloudy, gold color with a nice head. It was suppose to have the aroma and flavors of a Belgian Wit beer but it was sorely lacking.

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is spicy with coriander, citrus, orange peel, wheaty malt, and yeasty notes. Flavour is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Body is medium. A pretty sweet decent Witbier.

Draft at Catawba Morganton. Pours a hazy straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Notes of corriander, clove and straw on the nose. Palate is similar with a dry finish. Not bad.

Can (154-21, so 6/2/21?) pour from 1897 Market, Charlotte Airport. It's a hazy straw yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width white tight foamy head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is moderate tart fruit and wheat. Taste mirrors aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and wheat cracker finish. Overall, only getting a tart fruit vs. coriander or orange. Pretty ho hum.

More like a spiced golden ale than a proper wit, with a pilsner-ish cracker base and hints of grass and clove. Not getting much vanilla or wheat, just pilsner and a slight soapy undertone. Drank in Georgia—where Allagash is distributed—so pass.

Hazy pale yellow color. Slightly sweet aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet wheat beer and light bitter citrus with a subtle spice. Good example of witbier. Easy drinking.
