Clear blond colour, white foam. A fruity tripel with notes of coriander, some citrus, light bitter finish.

Sampled @ Zythos Bierfestival 2015 Fast klare goldene Farbe, Geruch leicht malzig, fruchtig. Geschmack kräftig malzig, reife Früchte, Gewürze.

From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and toasted malty. Light caramelish. Mild grassy. Bitter and toasted mqlty finish.

My last beer of the afternoon at the Brugge Beer Festival on 2nd Feb 2014: I so wanted this to be good! Poured a hazy yellow/golden colour with a small white head. Aroma was of mild maltiness and semi-sweet, some herbal and yeasty esters finished the nose. Taste the same, not a great amount of flavour or depth, a sweet Tripel which I tried to embrace, OK rather than wonderful. Not a total disaster as a final beer at the festival, but I could have done better!

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a small off white head. Aroma of Brett, caramel, malt and light fruits. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Clearly infected but not entirely unpleasant.

The third Kwibus, with thin, unstable, off-white head and golden blonde colour with somewhat greenish hue. Aroma of dough, yeast, cheese, flowers, orange peel and white bread. Light citrus in the onset, immature doughy maltiness, yeasty, bit metallic, soapy hops without sufficient bitterness, not well-balanced. The third time this Kwibus range disappoints me.

Lots of malts in the aroma and also a fruity sweetness. Light yeasty sourness in the taste.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow - golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, lightly sweetish, lightly herbal and yeasty. Taste about the same: lightly malts, lightly a herbal yeasty touch, slightly sweetish. After warming up for a while some fruity tones come through as well. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad at all.

Bab 14 Pours fuzzy yellow , small white foam Smells grainy . Bit sweet . Rather high carbo . Taste is bit grains , some hops , some bread. Aftertaste is a bit sweet

Bottle sample @ ZBF’13 shared with the RB Belgian crew. Dorée-orangée, col blanc fin. Arôme fruité, citronné bien présent et dominant. Sans plus. Palais est houblonné feuillu, levure sur un palais amer; citronné, grains pour une version assez monodimensionnelle. Pointe d’épice houblonnée au fini.
