Bottle at the 10th Richmond RateBeer Gathering courtesy of jcwattsrugger on 01/16/2010. Slightly hazy pale golden body with a small frothy white head. Sweet spice aroma with some citrus and light wheat. Sweet spice flavor, lots of citrus and a wheat background. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Has an aroma somewhat like a real lambic, funky. Looks like a wheat but perhaps there is this slight green hue, very slight. Friendly and interesting first taste impressions. Has some lime in there like the lime reminiscent in lime tostidos. Good carbonation. Interesting beer but probably could not session. Finishes each slug with a medium bitter pale ale linger.

Bottle. Pale yellow-gold body. Short, white head, quickly diminishing. Aroma of lemon, citrus, grain with hints of Band-Aid, plastic. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lightly to moderately tart. It finishes lightly sweet, lightly bitter and moderately tart. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. The flavor is better than the aroma. The tastes of lemon and citrus translate into a tart finish.

Extra from a trade with Daknole a long time ago. Pours with a small white head that goes over a hazy golden body. Aroma of coriander, bleach, lime, slight metal note and CO2. Taste is coriander and fizzy. Dry mouthfeel.

Opaque dull blonde. Footy-limey yeast nose. Fresh, fruity taste. Limey and wheaty with enough malt for balance. Actually quite refreshing.

Pours hazy golden, white head. Aroma lemony. Taste, wheat, spices; coriander, banana, lemon, with light orange aftertaste. Not a bad beer, a lot better than many other FBC beer, so it says a lot.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of daknole. Thanks! Hazy lemon yellow pour with a thin head, low retention and lacing. Aroma is almost like lime-tinged candi sugar with some spicy notes. Dry taste with lime, yeast and spice characteristics. Medium bodied.

Draught out the side of a car: Poured a murky orange yellow with an off white head. The aroma is wheat and spices, also some sweetness. The taste was harvesty and sweet with nice wheat finish.

Courtesy of Degarth. Pours hazy straw with orange hue and almost no head. The aroma is sweet with sugar coated ripe bananas, honey, vague spice and some wheat in the background. I get a bit of pepper at the end of the whiff. The taste isn’t as sweet as the nose with a faint pulse of malt sweetness leading into grainy – cereal flavors that play against a mild tart citrus note, banana, bubble gum and assorted vague spices.
