Black with thck, creamy head. Aroma of strong, resinous, piney hops. Has a hoppy and roasted taste. The roasted malts linger nicely in the finish.

zwart met schuimige kaki kraag. Aroma is heerlijk, salmiak, den, laurier, koffie... gewoon erg goed. smaken zijn behoorlijk aan de hopbittere kant, scherpe toets van een pepertje, den, matig zoet, geroosterde mouten, laurier, koffie, gras, zacht en glad, wat droog in de afdronk, as tonen.matige body, goed te doen.

330ml Bottle - Very dark brown with a foamy head. Pine, liquorice and grass in the aroma. Liquorice, fudge, soap and burnt toast in the taste.

From bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki, thanks to Anastasis. Black color with beige head. Aroma is hoppy, grassy, piney and some cheese notes. Roasted malty notes too. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Banzai - thanks! - black pour with a puffy beige head. Roasted malty and tropical hoppy aroma and taste, some grapefruit and citrus notes, caramel and chocolate malts, coffee, hoppy bitter finish. Great brew! Lovely.

Bottle. Black, with a brown-white head. Nice aroma of roasted malt and hops. Taste of fruity hop, chocolate. Creamy soft mouthfeel. Bitter finish. Nice one.

33cl Bottle from Sterk Avondverkoop. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, liquorice, coffee, roasted malts, tar. Flavour is medium sweet, roasted malts, ash, grapefruit, caramel, liquorice, laurel, earth, coffee, berries, firm bitter finish. Light-bodied, suitable carbonation. Good.

Bottle from vandeStreek bros, BB autumn 2015, large sample. Dark brown cola like color, big frothy brown head. Aroma of grassy and piney hops, dark roast, hint of coffee, some mocha, caramel, chocolate. Bit sweet in taste, in a fruity way, medium bitter. Slight harsh dry roastiness. Medium carbonation, medium body. Very tasty black IPA.

Bottle shared by Erwin Van Moll @ Brewpub Van Moll. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium to full sized light brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, lightly roasty, lightly hops. Taste malts, lightly roasty, a hint of smoke, decently bitter. Ok body and carbonation. Hmm not a bad taste, but not a really good black IPA imo.
