Completely flat dark brown to black. Looks like molasses Sort of a mini cherry pie nose. Some caramel and mrs butters worth. Taste is intense! Insanely malty with lots if buttery biscuit notes. Tons of sour cherry and tart oakiness. Very tannic and almost grape skin like. Has a porter like chocolate taste

Thanks to my good friend in the desert for hooking me up with this bottle. Dark murky brown pour with no head. Sour dark fruit and vinous aromas. All kinds of vinous and sour stone fruit notes with caramel malt, vanilla, and woody undertones. Delicious with a great mouthfeel and good balance. A little light on the carbonation.

375 mL bottle shared at Slutfest 4. Pours a dark brown color with a thin head. Fair head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, tart herbal finish. The taste is caramel, roasted malts, bright tart citrus, raisin. Medium bodied. Disjointed a bit, but good.

375mL bottle, pours a dark, dark mahogany with almost zero head. Aroma of uber complex oak barrels, port barrels, a myriad of other things. Flavour is insanely complex, with port barrels, dark fruits, some molasses somewhere in there, liqueur, lots of pleasant tartness. Remarkably complex and well-balanced heavy sour. Delicious.

Opaque black beer, zero head. Light dry palate. Sour beer but not too sour at all. Very complex array of flavours. Nothing really dominates. Licorice, dark malt, sour cherry, blackcurrants. Port Wine. Just the right side of being puckery. A little lemon coming through the finish. Very well joined up. One of the nicest sours I have had.

375ml bottle pours a water, opaque black with one ring of white head. Nose of roasted malt, vanilla, coconut, smells like an imperial stout. Flavor is very tart, cherry juice, limes, a little toasted malt, vinegar. Medium bodied, acidic finish. Smells like an imperial stout, tastes like a sour.
