La Blanche from St-Feuillien reflects a unique combination of white beer and triple characteristics, thirst-quenching, aroma, high density and bitterness.
The colour is slightly blonde with an opaque, cloudy appearance. Its head is creamy, white and compact. It has a distinctive aroma of wheat beer with a delicate note of orange peel.
The body shows a contrasted blend of light bitterness which become more and more intense and the wheat beer thirst-quenching characteristic. This beer has an impressive lingering taste.

Everything you’d expect in a witbier . Light and airy ,slightly fizzy , hints of orange peel. Some mild dry bitterness to finish the deal.

On tap at the Yard House, Houston. It’s an unclear yellow-golden beer with a small off-white head. It’s quite butterscotchy on the nose, with canned fruits, pale malts, coriander and some orange peel. Medium body, a bit hard carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Mostly fruity flavor, with a little bitterness, orange peel and some spiced hints. Rather short finish. Luckily the butterscotch isn’t as evident in the flavor as in the aroma. Still a pretty boring one. 140516

On draught at Delaney’s, pretty surprised like Cletus tha this hasnt received more ratings, but there you go. Nice wit coloring and aroma that usually isnt too strong from a wit unless there is some artificial flavors, but this seemed like a pretty pure witbier. Nice crisp lean flavor of spice, a little orange, coriandor, all the rest that are normal for a witbier. Very much a middle of the road white except for the abv, it will catch up with you very quickly.
