750ml bottle pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is big crisp sweet papaya notes some citrus notes and a little bread malts. Taste is more of the nice fruit some tropical notes and a bitter sweet end.

Clear amber beer, little white head. Soft and semi dry palate. Mild hops start, just a light bitterness. Morphs in to sweet juicy papaya and then back to hops which become more robust in their bitterness. Finishes soft with mild minerals. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Every mouthful a delight!

Entering old rates. Draft @ CCB.

Sample at the Sour Village / CCB Tasting on 05/20/2011. Thanks to JaBier for bringing a bottle back from FL. Pours a clear amber-brown color with a medium thick off-white head that burns away slowly. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of tropical fruits, bready malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of sweet fruit, hops and grainy malt. The finish is fruity with a lingering sweetness left behind. Decent beer overall.

Bottle. Pours a dark gold with a medium head. Aromas are sweet fruit and a little bit of grain dust with a touch of hops. Wondering if it gets buried in the maltiness of it all... Flavor is a very nice mix of sweet malt and papaya with even more tropical fruit hops to balance and finish things nicely. This is a great end to a long day of travel to Florida!

Greg brought this back from a trip to Florida. Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a huge fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy candied fruits - not really identifiable as papaya and had light notes of yeast and citrus. The flavor was tart and bitter with notes of candied fruit, table sugar, pine and floral hops. Much drier than I was expecting. The finish was long and fruity. Fairly full bodied. Decent.

Bottle thanks to billshmeinke. Pours with a completely cleared penny hued body with a lasting off-white, rocky head. Aromas of papaya, dried fruits, mint, pine, and light tropical fruit. Flavors of light fruit, some pine, dried, apricot, some papaya in the finish. Really bland honestly. Some sweetness, table sugar, noticeable alcohol for how low the abv is. Lively bubbles, dry. Really ho-hum. Where are the hops?

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma has a beautiful papaya note with a nice backing citrus note and some sweet grains. Flavor started sweet with papaya and grains and grew to a pine finish that was slightly dank.
