(Sample @ CBC 2016 Green Session, Copenhagen) Pours a murky medium orange. Aroma is a good blend of punchy fresh and dried apricot notes, lambic base conveying horse blanket, moderate citrusy acidity, some apple and pit fruit skin notes, lightly oaked. Flavor is a mix of tart apricot and a fairly dry, champagne-like lambic base up front, with apricot concentration building up through the sip and lots of dried apricot showing in the finish. The base beer gives somewhat expected notes of lemon, apple and other fruit skins, fairly light funk and oak overall. Semi-long apricot aftertaste. Medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, plushy feel. Really nice, it's not insanely punchy apricot like an American wild, and it's not quite the match for Fou'Foune, but it's quite close and that's very high praise for me.

Schade.
