From old tasting notes. Bright yellow gold color. Big rocky white head. Zesty lemon peel malt nose. Bold, crisp malt flavor has a pronounced grassy hop character. Bitter hop finish. Dry aftertaste.

Smells of a little caramel malt. Pours golden, decent-looking for a lager. Taste is a little crisp, not bad for the style really. Of course after a day doing construction site cleanup, this tastes alright.

Originally rated December 2004. Says "Naturally handcrafted with only four ingredients" on green label, with Canadians in a canoe (back in the day). Poured a light golden-yellow colour with a fast dissipating head. The lacing was light. The aromas were malty and grainy. The taste was semi-bitter with a good crisp finish. Very drinkable, but nothing fancy.

Draught in Toronto. Bright yellow with a thin white head, and little lacing. Aroma of malt and light citrus. Taste of malt, black pepper and a hint of lemon. Not complex. Weak body. Unimpressive overall, and average lager that is pretty forgettable.

Bottle: Poured a strong yellow color lager with a medium head with OK retention. Aroma is quite bland with some malt and very little hops. Taste is refreshing and quite crisp and I would say has more flavour then your usual macro lager. I guess this as improve since the last couple of year I had it before but it is still not great.

Pours a light amber colour with a white creamy head. Scents of malts and honey. Slight taste of honey. Caramel and malt. The palate is creamy with lingering malts and hops.

Had a 12 pack of this in bottles. I was impressed. For a regular lager, this was decent stuff. Had an apparent malt sweetness to the body that was pronounced due to some alcohol flavors. There were some stale hops flavors throughout that detracted from the flavor and the finish was a bit dry and stale. Overall not as watery as many standard lagers, has some spice and an interesting medium dry, medium acidic fruit taste at the beginning. Wasnt terribly carbonated either in the bottle
