A strong copper-colored ale with a mild, sweet malt character. Brewed with lots of Belgian candi sugar and slowly fermented for a month. Sublime.

Draft at the source. Poured a light, transparent copper color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was sweet malts, some caramel, Belgian yeast notes hit your nose hard on this one. Honey, caramel sweetness. Floral notes and some light, peppery spice on the finish.

A lightly hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, caramel malt with porto, oxidized malt notes, coriander and curacao. In mouth, a smooth sweet candy sugar with maderized notes, a bit too old. Bottle from the brewery, 2 years old, shared with Probstk, GRM, Mike and Shaun, Nov. 20 2011.

Bottle. Neutral nose. Amber, light sparkles off, offwhite head. Light Belgian yeast funk, clay, a bit citrus, pleasant. Medium to light body, sparkly, creamy. Clay aftertaste. Easy to drink but doesn’t wow.
