Hazy orange with foamy head. Orange peel aroma. Taste is bitter to bittersweet, tangy but with enough malty sweetness to keep it interesting. Tart to acidic at the finishes. Medium body, balanced carbonation. A good one.

Bright blood orange sweetness mixed with mild caramel and toasted grain, followed by a firm piney bitterness on the back end, floral and dank weed notes sitting on top of a healthy IBU-slathered fade. Lots of orange and pine on the nose, and the creamy texture invites another sip. Solid IPA.

Poured from a 12 oz can dated 06/28/2016. Aroma is very hop forward with lots of dank and pine resin notes. Lighter grapefruit, floral and grassy hop notes as well. Some light cracker and caramel malt notes with a faint alcohol notes. Pours a murky, copper orange with a very large, thick, white head that recedes into itself slowly. High lacing and no legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with medium light caramel, toasted bread and some cracker malt notes. High bitterness with a strong resin character. Lots of herbal and floral hop notes with some woody and pine notes as well. Light grapefruit and hints of alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, not a great IPA. The hop profile is really not nice and is super floral, woody and herbal with almost no fruit. Malt profile isn?t too bad and help supports the hop profile.

22 oz bottle @ home, one off from De Bierkoning. Clear copper color. Off white head. Aroma’s: lots of resin at first, quickly taken over by lots of citrus, light malt, light flowery. Retronasal: more malts, less citrus, some herbal bitterness. Flavor: moderate to full bitter with some citrussy sourness. Medium bodied. Bitterness dryness develop towards the finish. Lovely experiment, I really like it.
