Hartverwarmend winterbier. Texels Noorderwiend is een complex winterbier gebrouwen met gedroogde curacaoschillen en diverse soorten speciaal mout. Hartverwarmend, zachtbitter en fruitig. We brouwen ons karaktervolle winterbier met diverse soorten gerst, geoogst op Texel zelf. Maar ook met gedroogde curaçaoschillen en een beetje tarwemout, dat dit hartverwarmende bier extra vol en romig maakt.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass quite dark, almost black, short living head. Starts warming-malty with fine spicy notes. Modest sourish background, not very roasty. Finish drier, but still well balanced. Nice!

Bottle sampled at the Fiddler. Pours bet brown with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and vegetables. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodies with soft to moderate carbonation.

[Thanks to bierkoning]. 33cl bottle. Brown colour with a thin light tan head. Aroma and flavour is sweet, moderate caramelish and with a final a little bit watery. Carbonation is medium. Body is light to medium.

30 cl. bottle @ Parents. Hazy brown with a small white head. Yeasty caramelly smell and taste. not that special.

Bottle from Jumbo supermarket, Den Burg, Texel, Netherlands, 27.09.11 consumed outside Frank (camper) at Den Hoorn campsite, Texel island 28.09.11 Pours orange/amber with a slim white head, touch hazy. Warming with a nice kick, spicy in mouth, good winter warmer. I’ve had one last night though that was a bit of a gusher. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Slightly hazy orange / amber color, slightly off-white head. Decent smell, malts, caramel. Taste sweet, a little bitter, caramel. Nice carbo, medium body.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy light brown beer. Ghost of a white head. Light crisp palate turning softer. Even malt. Slighty sweet. Trace of ginger. Banana estery sweetness. Finishes semi dry. Ok.

on tap at the doerak , delft Good head. Slightly hazy amber color . seems to have gone downhill since i last rated it.

Bottle 300ml. @ home.Clear medium amber orange color with many tiny sized body particles, a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, candy, phenol notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, candy sweet, sweet yeast notes, prune notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively, looks flat. [20110213]
