@ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. Black colour, brown foam. Soft carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts with sweet Grand Marnier and oranges flavour. Like liquid Jaffa Cake with alcohol. Ok, but not my favourite.

Obscenely huge quantities consumed @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. Brownish black, mocha head. Nose is huge Grand Marnier, chocolate truffles & oranges soaked in Grand Marnier. Taste is huge chocolate truffle, chocolate, lots & lots of Grand Marnier, Chocolate Grand Marnier Cake,… Thick body. Sooo good but it really depends upon just how much you like Grand Marnier.

Sample at CBC 2015. Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of chocolate, some coffee, roasted malt and hints of orange. Full body and with a soft carbonation. Also some notes of alcohol in the finish.

Craft #100 fest at Clapham. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and crisp. Smooth creamy dark malts, luxuriant. Nice dark chocolate. Trace of wood. The Grand Marnier comes through towards the end and is perfectly pitched as a supporting flavour. Airy finish. Really well joined up. lovely.

Keg at Sirens 2nd Anniversary bash, at the brewery, 07/03/15. Pitch black with a dcent tan covering. Nose is Terry’s chocolate orange, sweet tunes, dark malt, toffee, light charr. Taste comprises Conitreau vibes, sweet chocolate gloop, candied sugars, light wood, more choc orange. Full bodied, slightly oily, smooth, warming alcohol, Gran Marnier presence in the close. Solid enough impy, delivers on the theme for sure but lacks overall balance for me, a touch too sweet and getting a tad hot at times.

Flavour is composed of mellow full bodied, orange and choc, oak and wood. So many things going on. Palate is full and mellow with moderate carbonation. Solid.
