Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty, hoppy and yeasty aroma. . Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

330ml bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Pours deep dark brown, moderate pale tan topping. Aroma is nutty earthy malt, caramel sweetness. Taste is smooth with banana and vanilla yeast notes alongside the earthy nutty malt. Hefe-bruin anyone? Nope, thought not. This is good though.

Bottle at restaurant, Brugge, Belgium, Saturday 16th September 2017 with Lynn and Barry. Dark brown in colour with tan head. Soft in the mouth, a little creamy but all told perhaps sweetness and a tad too much of is the defining characteristic here.Yes it's malty, a little chocolate and coffee also present but it is the sweetness I pick up most. Botella 33 cl en supermercado Brugge 09..09..2017. Lote CRSL0131A 22;52 fdcpref 01..2019. Color oscuro caoba turbio con espuma beige poco persistente. Sabores maltosos tostados ligeramente con toques azucarados ligeros caramelos tostados y buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. 8 vol que se dejan notar. Normal a buena.

Bottle @ DØE tasting. Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, light spice, wood, light moldy notes. Flavor is sweet, malty, yeast, caramel, wood and again a light moldy note. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish. 280617

Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, light toasted - roasted, moderate yeasty.
