0.33 l bottle (bb: 12/2017), huge thanks to Adam for this one. Pours copper with thick, quickly disappearing head. Nose is fruity and acidic, reminds me of red wine. Strange, but not bad. In taste it has the same tart fruity character, with some additional earthy notes, and grains and it wouldn't be bad, but it feels like a bit watered down, or something. It has all these notes, but not quite powerfully altogether. Light bodied with soft carbo, easy to drink. Pretty interesting beer altogether, but honestly I'm not totally sure which traits are intentional and which are the results of it being past its best before date a few months.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is sweetish biscuity malt, caramel, bit yeasty, with ripe fruits and soft floral/herbal notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium, slightly creamy. Fairly smooth and enjoyable.

330ml bottle at the brewpub Butcher's Tears. Shared with Leif. Firm off-white head, clingy lacing, cloudy amber coloured body. Smell of dried fruits and brown malts. Rather sweet taste character of caramel, raisin, and ripe citrus. Rounded malt-driven end. Medium bodied. Just alright, a bit too sweet in the long run. (Amsterdam 09.03.2018).

33cl Bottle from Sterk. Slightly hazy orange-amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of dates, caramel, raisin, yeast, candy. Flavour is medium sweet, dry, fruity, date, candied fruits/ confit, sludge / dirt that I find in all their beers since they started brewing on their own kit, bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Not great.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2017) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, orange peel and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, orange, apricots, caramel and a balanced citric, earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and fresh, but on the sweet side. Quite nice.
