Tap at Borefts ’15. Pours very hazy golden blond with no head. Aroma of strong wasabi upfront with light peppery saison yeast and citrus. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Borefts VII. Day 1. Hazy yellow gold beer, no head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Minerals. Dry pale malts and floralness. Wasabi is nicely done (ie not so strong is pains your nostrils). Light dry finish. Different!

Keg at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 25/09/15. Very lightly hazed orange with a limited white head. Nose is spice, mustard, wasabi, straw. Taste comprises subtle wasabi, mustard heat, straw, light citric notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mustard related chilli tickle. Couldn’t drink a lot of this but hats off for pulling off a drinkable wasabi #.

@Borefts 2015, dag 2, wazig geel/oranje zonder kraag. aroma is gewoon erg wazig en iets ranzig. smaken zijn waterig, dun, mout, wasabi ... mwaahhh..... kruidig, zacht en glad maar over het algemeen erg vlak.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 1.Golden with no head. Nose carries light wasabi mixed with sweetish oil with a vegetable touch,… Taste is oily, weird cooked vegetable, weird herbal, oily, spice,… Flat & oily. The wasabi is not too heavy, good quality but I don’t care for the base beer profile. Too bad.
