Inspired by the wild beauty of west coast of Latvia. This malty beer with deep amber color and a warm autumn aroma is brewed with heather and wild thyme - typical vegetation of those parts, as well as a bit of Sladek hops for balance.

Borefts VIII. Day 1. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry with good carbonation. Sweetish malts. Dried fruits. Mild spice. Floral fruits. Tangy seltzer. Semi dry finish. Okay.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy round white head. The aroma is floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry floral vermouth alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap@Borefts 2016, Bodegraven - fuzzy amber coloured pour with white head. Fruity and malty, with some herbal hoppy backing, interesting hop profile, hoppy bitter finish.

At BBF, cloudy orange color, aroma of mint, oregano and thornes, oregano and sour fruits flavor, sourness is a quite strong with a light noticable bitterness. Nice and original.

[9/24/16] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2016 in Bodegraven. Day two. Murky golden. Aroma of thyme, a bit of za’atar. Flavor has sweetish malt, slightly tart, with fruitiness, thyme. Medium-bodied.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is smooth fruity and toasted ampty. Dry and toasted malty finish. Ingering toasted far finish.

Draft @ Borefts 2016. Shared with RB Belgian crew. Orange, col blanc. Nez herbacé ezt bien fleuri avec un petit rappel de thym, le tout sous couvert d’un agréable houblonné noble, ici, tchèque et d’effluves de sous-bois très fraiches. Malt reste au côté pils. Palais est fin malté pils, cara pale, fleuri botanique, avec un agreeable aspect thym sauvage, houblonné noble. Le tout reste plaisant, léger, avec tjrs cet usage local au niveau des herbes - bruyère.

Thank you for sharing BE & friends RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 2. Hazy amber, orange. Nose is strangely soapy, public toilet funk, weirdly off-funky. Taste is strange soap, thin, powdery, bad barn & faint toilet funk. Body is soapy with strange funk. Not a success. Unfortunate since I do like thyme – I didn’t quite get that either.
