500ml bottle. This is the Russian-brewed version, which I haven’t seen in Moscow for years - I suppose they stopped brewing it at the Klin plant. Pours clear gold with a small white head. A bit of lacing sticks to the glass. Aroma is corn, lemon, pale malt. Taste is the same, bit watery. Very easy to drink and not offensive in any way.

Bottle at TGI Fridays, Reading. Dull gold with a thin white head and an insipid fizz. A little sweetcorn and some soggy cardboard but so bland and watery that even these bad tastes are muted. A terrible beer and all the worse for pretending to be a Brazilian tick when actually it’s brewed in the Netherlands. Yahboosucks to Brahma and Inbev.

Zlatno žute boje. Dobro karbonizirana. Okus kao i ostali makro lageri, razvodnjeno i bez ukusa.

Bottle at Rio’s restaurant in Ipswich, England. (The drinks menu had listed Itaipava Pilsen which would have been a nice find in UK but was no longer stocked, shame). This bottle was UK brewed, 4.3%, and as non-descript a pale lager as one can get - a yellow/gold colour, minimal aroma, fairly high in carbonation, medium sweet, no bitterness, just cold.

Pours a clear light yellow color, topped wit ha medium frothy white head. Malty aroma with quite some smelly grains. Taste is sweet, a bit watery, passable when ice cold. Quite metallic aftertaste, very mild bitterness. Not worthy, really.

Bottiglia @ Expo 2015, Milano.

Like drinking golden sparkling water. No aromas, no flavour, just a hint of dough in the aftertaste.
