Bottled. A dark brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, smoke, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, smoke, and a bit of chili, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bottle@Jespers - Dark brown to black pour with big beige head. Roasted and toasted malty with some chocolate and some spicy chilli hits, medium body, spiced chilli finish.

Blakc color with an off-white head, short to medium retention. Aroma has notes of roasted and smoked malts. Flavor is slightly sweet, smoky and chili notes. Roasty and light chili notes in the final.

Sampled from draft @ BAF 2017. Dark brown color. Aroma's: smoky, ashy, syrup. Retronasal it's ash, roast, sweetish. Flavor is moderate sweet. Light bodied. Low carbonation. Just light pepper heat, fortunately. Long finish, roasty, moderate bitter.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ BAF 2017. Dark brown to black. Nose is huge smoked massive chili. Taste is very thick campfire smoke, smoked chilli, lingering aftertaste, roasted malt. BBQ malt syrup. Heavy stuff. Very intense, nice, liked both versions about the same.

Draft at Borefts After Festival, Kaapse '17. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel and light fruity chilli. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

From tap. Pours pitch black with no lasting head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Dry, smoked and roasted dark malty. Bitter, roasted and breadish dark malty. Roasted dark finish.

Tap at BAF 2017. Almost black with small beige head. Light smoke, coffee, cocoa, a hint of chilies but really not much. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel.
