Draught Small, yellowish rim, bit fluffy; opaque red-brown beer. Grapey, hessian sacks, nose with an ureum touch. Dry hopstaste, hopflower, hopoils, roasted cookies and a retronasal sourish hint (iron indeed). Ends again on some sweetness. Very slick, nearl oily, medium bodied however. Alcohol is utterly hidden. Very keen balanced beer, and no doubt treacherous.

Tap @ de molen. Dark color, thick creamy brown head. Aroma of bourbon, roasted malt, fruity hops, some chocolat. Rich taste, slight sweet vanilla, bourbon, malty, quite bitter. Lovely stuff.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Very deep brown colour, creamy and bubbly beige head. Aroma of strawberry yoghurt-ice cream, a bit of grapefruit, some toffee and coffee. Flavour is sweet, mango and grapefruit, some strawberry yoghurt, roasted malts, toffee and coffee, nice bitter hoppy and light roasted finish. Fullbodied, soft and thick mouthfeel. Amarillo overpowers the Rasputin, in this case in a good way. A really nice blend, but unfortunately no synergy.

Bottle at Pig’s Ear BF 09. I love Rasputin and I love Amarillo so you would expect me to love this. I mean it is good, but I’d rather have either beer separately than in this blend. Big amarillo sherbert hop on aroma. It’s good, but just not my thing.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of malt and spices - cinnamon. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of alcohol and spices - cinnamon, cardemomme and more, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Bottle 65/120. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small off-white heaD. Spicy, citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, lots of fruit, distinctly spicy with a little yeast. Quite interesting but hard to pinpoint. Warming alcohol in the finish. Interesting and delicious. 161209
