330ml bottle [courtesy of Bartlebier - thanks you very much, Frank!]. Hazy, amber colour with small to average, forthy to macropore, rapidly diminishing, off-white head. Yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy, and muesli-like malty aroma, hints of dried fruit, raisin, sultana, apple, a touch of old honey, whiffs of Port. Taste is dry, yeasty spicy and yeasty fruity, muesli-like malty, hints of dried fruit, raisin, sultana, apple, a vinous touch of Port, minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Slightly oily, minimally creamy texture, slightly dry palate, slightly coarse, prickly carbonation. Not that complex, not much explicit Port support - meh.

Bottle at KCBD18. Good citric aroma with a hobby of vanilla. Clear copper colour. Small stable creamy white head. The flavour is nicely citric with a little vanilla. Hint of funk, but mostly just nicely citric.

9/12/11/12/9/12

33cl bottle from BrauArt, Düsseldorf. Smooth fresh woody beginning, The Port is there, round and fruity dark with nice woody hints. Easy to drink, fruity with nice fresh malty parts, the wood and port is there, making the picture nice and round. The yeast is not intense, the Port and wood are bit above the nice yellow fruits of this beer. Round and smooth, nice wood and fruity Port over a smooth and yellow-fruited beer.

0.33 l bottle from 'Britische Biere', best before July 2018. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, floral, a little sourish, moderately fruity aroma of hay, lemon peel, white grapes, gooseberry, some oak and maybe hints of port. Just a bit sweet, moderately sour, slightly funky, fruity-floral, spicy and a bit woody-dry taste of gooseberry, lemon peel, hay, white grapes, clove and some oak, followed by a short, moderately tart, woody-dry, slightly bitter and a bit funky finish with traces of port. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Fairly complex beer although the port is hardly detectable, way too quaffable for that abv, highly refreshing as well, overall really nice!
