Bouteille 33cl, anno 2017, batch 1721, BB 09/2025. Pas certain que cette brasserie soit encore en activité.
Couleur brune foncée, noire, doré au verre, col crémeux café au lait.
Arôme dès ouverture donne de belles effluves de poudre de cacao, chocolat noir avec un malté généreux.
Palais est épais, profondeur marquée de chocolat, toffee, fèves de cacao, finement collant aux lèvres, retrouve un effet un peu chokotoff avec une fine amertume en fin de bouche. Très correcte, et même avec l'age, se tient très bien.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. Shared bottle at Ale&Hop, 2015 Edition, ABV 11%. Black colour. Sweetish aroma of vanilla and molasses. Sweet flavour, vanilla, chocolate and molasses.

Bottle shared with the RBESG guys on 8th July 2016 at Ale & Hop, Barcelona. This lovely chocolate flavoured Imp Stout did for me: I may well have carried on and visited two more bars with the guys but I was out of it after this beauty. Black with a beige crown. Huge vanilla and chocolate aroma with some dark fruits and red wine like esters in the nose also. The taste was similar to the aroma, chocolate and vanilla leading the malty flavouring with some dark berries and wine hints calming the sweetness down nicely. Very easy to drink (our bottle claimed 11% ABV I think). Leave me in the corner next time I have this please.

Bottle at Ale&Hop, RBESG 2016. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of fudge, milk chocolate, cocoa, and roast. Flavour is heavy sweet and light bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. [08-07-2016]

Bottle at Ale & Hop. Almost black with very small dark beige head. Massive vanilla and chocolate, strong roasted malts and espresso, fudge, dark red wine, dusty cocoa beans my grandmother used to give us. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied. Nice stuff, especially on the nose.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is vanilla and overripe fruity. Sweet, fruity, vanilla and chocolate. Bitter, dark malty and roasted finish.

Botella del @Señor Lúpulo. Despacho de cervezas, Gijón 06/12/2015 BBD: 12/2021. Color negro, sin espuma, sabor torrefacto cacao, final amargo y astringente.

Pinta a en el Sr D Lupulo el 06-08-2015. (r3) Color negro intenso con espuma oscura no muy persistente. Aromas y sabores maltas tostadas con abundantes toques de cacaos y ligero amargo final. Cuerpo medio con gran sensación alcohólica que al final es casi lo que predomina con sus 11 vol. No está mal sólo le faltaría un poco más de densidad. Buena.
