Bottle, as Trademark Dispute Red. Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is cinnamon, mocha, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Flavor is fairly sweet, apparent cinnamon, hint of pepper, cocoa, vanilla and bourbon. Mexican coffee minus the coffee :). Full body, a bit high on carbonation. TAY-S-TEE

Tap @ CBC 2015. Pours pitch black with a medium dark brown head. Aromas of cinnamon, dark chocolate, roast, cocoa, light chili spice, dark fruits, vanilla, fudge, sweet barrel notes, toasted coconut. Taste has lots of cinnamon, fudge, vanilla, roast, light savory notes, dark chocolate, some dark fruits, milky chocolate, light chili heat. Damn good.

22 ounce bottle into snifter, 2016 vintage bottling. Pours dense pitch black color with a 2 finger fairly dense and flufy tan head with great retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, chili peppers, bourbon, toasted oak, biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of coconut, toffee, licorice, molasses, raisin, prune, cherry, fig, date, smoke, char, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toast/oaky earthiness. Minimal booze in the aromas as it warms. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, cinnamon, chili pepper, vanilla, bourbon barrels, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, chili peppers, bourbon, toasted oak, biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of coconut, toffee, licorice, molasses, raisin, prune, cherry, fig, date, smoke, char, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toast/oaky earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, roast, charred bitterness; and cinnamon, chili, bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, chili peppers, bourbon, toasted oak, biscuit, dark bread/crust, coconut, toffee, licorice, molasses, dark fruit, light smoke/char, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toast/oaky earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, cinnamon, chili pepper, vanilla, bourbon barrels, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet, and bourbon/oak/spiciness balance; with no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety/bready, and lightly slick/sticky/chalky/tannic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Mild increasing warmth of 12% and spice heat; with minimal lingering barrel booziness after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic barrel aged spiced imperial stout. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, cinnamon, chili pepper, vanilla, bourbon barrels, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the huge ABV, with the mildly bitter/spicy/tannic/drying finish. Fantastic soft/silky feel for the ABV. Fantastic balance between rich malts, spices, and bourbon barrel presence/integration; mild earthy hops and fruity yeast. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering bitter/spicy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example as expected. Not overwhelming on any aspect, aged amazingly well.

Black oily. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, coconut, chocolate, roast, maybe some nuts. Taste is intense dense chocolate sweetness, vanilla and chocolate finish, a bit roasty bitterness, some walnut. Very oily and heavy. Pretty balanced. A tiny burn while swallowing. Very round and nice.

Bottle. darkest brown, viscous, low head. Salmiak , dark chocolate, brown sugar, cocoa powder. Medium full body, cotton candy, cocoa sirup, light salmiac, some spice, cotton candy mole sauce, extremely viscous, enough spice to break through the stickiness. fun.

Bottle, many thanks William! Black color with tiny beige head. Aroma is coconut, vanilla, thick barrel, caramel, chocolate. Taste is coconut, vanilla, chocolate, very thick. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Tasty, thick, and sweet, very Florida pastry.

Dark brown Stout, no head, pastry stout. Aroma: roasted toasted coconut x100. Flavor adds bourbon to that. Very smooth, spices (cinnamon?), A tad of soy sauce aftertaste, fantastic to share. Very sweet.
