Bottled. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, cherries, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

Sampled between ratebeer and brewver, so no extensive review available. Wasn't a big fan of this one. i remember the wax being pretty shit ( thin, hard plastic like thing, that breaks into small pieces and unavoidable fall into the beer. the cap didn't look completely sealed, but the beer was not infected nor flat, so I guess it did its job anyhow. But still, there's something to be said about releasing beers like that.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A/20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 1 (BBF 12/2027). AROMA: medium-high hot alcohol aroma, followed by medium cocoa aroma and medium-low coffee. APPEARANCE: very dark brown to black and opaque. thin brown head with no retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-high cocoa, faint plums and coffee. medium-high hot alcohol. medium bitterness with a dry and slightly roasted finish. PALATE: full body with a velvety texture. very low carbonation. hot alcohol sensation. OVERALL: an imperial stout a bit mono-dimensional with aggressive alcohol (even after 1 year on the bottle) and almost no carbonation.
