Bottle shared on Level 42, 14/11/2017. Many thanks to Wingman Dave for this one. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of light tan head. Aroma is sweet and sour, chocolate, creme caramel, maple and bark. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, earthy maple, woody, creamy coffee, layered brown sugars. Palate is super sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation, syrupy sweet. Little cough syrup in the finish.

Bottle at level 42 – big thanks to Dave. It pours jet black with a medium sturdy dark tan head. The aroma is intense sweetness, massive maple syrup vibes, oily, toffee, vanilla, creaminess, honeycomb crunch, toasty malts and chocolate. The taste is slick, intensely sweet, chewy, maple syrup, toasted marshmallow, cookie dough, graininess, stroopwaffles, roasted action and some alcohol warmth through the finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. Very sweet stuff indeed. Fun for a small pour, but lacks a bit of finesse.

Bottle shared in London - massive thanks to Dave. Pours oily black-brown with a frothy, khaki head. Lots of chocolate in the nose, maple syrup, roast, dark berries. Massively sweet flavour with syrupy chocolate, raisins, low bitterness, oily vanilla, burnt marshmallows. Full bodied and chewy, with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming, with more creamy chocolate, maple, brownies. Good fun.

Bottle, shared at Cloudwater, courtesy of Connor. Pours clear, darkest chestnut brown. Black in the glass, with a frothy, clingy, beige head. Nose has nutty chocolate. Milky coffee. Lots of robust maple. Chocolate milkshake on top. Taste is sweet and milky. Sticky maple on the lips. Minimal bitterness by way of light, roast coffee malts. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Drinks like liquid dessert. Sticky finish too. Achieves it’s aim in spades.
