Cask. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt combined with a note of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt and lighter notes of soy sauce, but also with a light note of acidity from the roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is light.

A deep dark stout with a thick resilient moka nitro head. A pleasant chocolate aroma with milkey, creamy qualities. In mouth, a smooth silky chocolate, light bitterness, a bit light but good. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

Watery, opaque black with a ringing white head. Nutty aroma, toasted malts. Flavor has more nuts and toasted malts but does it all without being heavy. Thin, slightly dry finish. Sessionable but average.

Nitrogen powered at the brewpub. Aroma is something dusty over dark toasted malt. Opaque dark color with a very dark tan head. Full bodied with very smooth nitrogenation. The flavor is mild, smooth, toasted malt. Not at all harsh. The finish is more burnt toast than bitter. Coffee and chocolate were very low key.
