Light Blonde Beer. Rich with foam and infused with the breezy flavours of Parian barley that grows under the sun on the shores of the Aegean Sea.

330ml (blue) bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is malt, grass, and cooked vegetables. Taste is light bitter, barley, bread, citrus. I agree with Grumbo. It’s kinda like some obscure country tick. Great bottle, though.

5/12/2018. Bottle (a curiously blue one at that) from Barley Cargo, Athens. Pours very pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of grain, hops, caramel, grass and citrus. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Light body, watery texture, average carbonation. Reminiscent of an obscure African country tick. Nice blue bottle though.

33cl Bottle from a local delicacy shop in Ermoupolis. New brewery, another lager... Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of wort, bread, sweet malts, some veggies, corn. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, wort, bread, light veggies, hint of lemon, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Adds nothing to the Greek beer scene, except for the fact that it’s from Paros.
