Can in Japan at Seijo Ishii as Upcider Green Pear Cider 4.7% Pale straw gold with a sweet pear cocktail type aroma, definitely reminiscent of a wine cocktail. The taste is sweet green pears a bit earthy, chewy and fresh. Medium bodied smooth but a tad gassy. OK but a bit soda/wine cooler like.

0.5l bottle as Upcider (Natural) Päärynä, at the Turku Airport (yeah, I pretty much outdid myself when weird places for ticks are concerned). Poured a very pale, almost clear yellow body. Slightly stale pear nose. Emptyish sweet taste, very light sweet pear, again slightly stale. Eh. More like a soft drink than a cider, like all of these commercial Finnish and Estonian ciders really.

Plastic bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours almost clear as water with basically no head. Distinct pear aroma. Light body, a little low in carbonation. Distinct pear accents that probably are artificial but never unpleasant. 301108
