Bottle shared in Hackney - many thanks to Fergus. Pours lightly hazed yellow with a creamy white head. Fresh lemony nose, some pale wood, pear, hay. Light sweet flavour with nips of white grape, melon, more pear, faint honey, lemony acidity. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, quenching, more lemon, woody dryness, a little grass. Lovely beer.

750 bottle split with James, 01/07/17. Golden orange with a minimal head that clears to light spotting. Nose is citric peel, straw, light herb, wooded notes, mellow funk. Taste conorises mellow citric peel, wood must, light barnyard, on the turn melon, tangerine, light yeast tickle, lemon drizzle, damp hay, light oak tones. Medium bodied, very limited carbonation verging on flat, drying close. Solid flavoursome saison but lacks carbonation.

Sampled from tap at ’Craftbeer Corner Coeln’. Slightly hazy, straw yellow with a white head. Slightly sweetish, a little sourish, fruity-grassy and floral aroma of lemon peel, lots of pineapple and hay. A bit sweetish, moderately sour, fruity-grassy and slightly floral taste of lemon, rhubarb, gooseberry, pineapple and hay, followed by a medium long, rather tart, woody-dry finish. Thin to medium body, moderately astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
