Bottle from Fristo in Leipzig. Smooth malty beginning. Chocolate, malt and caramel. Hints of smooth sourness, the beer is round and fruity mild with a nice yeasty body. Smooth aftertaste, round and malty with caramelly hints. Nice clove there, a really nice dunkles Weizen.

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, bigger and quite stable off-white head, hazy, sourish wheaty to dark-malty nose; light bodied to watery, mild sourish-sweetish flavour with a light tartness; delicate sourish caramelly-wheaty finish. Not great, but at least drinkable....

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass also. Almost black, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest yeasty, not too dry. Some fruity hints of plum. Finish dominated by malty notes, not too roasty. Really nice!

Bottle. Cloudy brown with a chestnut shine, golden brown head. Light spicy dry nose - clove, nutmeg, allspice. Spicyness caries onto the flavor, fairly dry, vanilla, banana, plum tones under it - all in all actually quite complex. Medium to light dry body, mellow mouthfeel. Slightly flat finish.

Bottle, Weintanne, Jena. Poured a misty amber-brown body with a beige head. Sourish dusty sweet cloves in the nose. Soft, sourish malty grainy taste, empty but passable. Expected more, after the Kapuziner this is completely unimpressive.
