5th March 2010. Pre ZBF. Think this was Madsberg - Cheers Mads! Cloudy pale gold beer. Dry palate - woody, earthy, pleasantly winey sour. Not overdone.

19th July 2020
10 years on, this pours a clear burnished gold with a short lived pale cream colour head. Mildly sour nose. Light palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Bit musty with some ripe old citric peel and marmalade. Little red wine survives on the finish. Okay.

Bottled@PBF2010. Hazy deep orange colour, small head. Aroma is very sour and tart wood with some maltyness. Flavour is quite much the same with some acidicness as well. Pleasant.

Bottled June 2009 (PBF)
Hazy orange color, small steady white head. Bubblegum, leather, Belgian yeast in the nose. Red wineous, lambic-like sour, berries. Pinot noir barrel is working here well.

Bottle at Pre ZBF 2010. Pretty sure Madsberg brought this. Really good saison. Love the aroma and flavour. Good hop and yeast on the aroma. Pinot gives it slightly more character than a straight saison. Really good.

Bottle at Pre ZBF on March 5th 2010, not sure who brought this one, but many thanks whoever it was for their generosity, possibly Madmitch76 (Ken) again? Pours hazy gold. The aroma is exactly that stated quite earthy at times but also the farmyard and rustic nature come through. Nicely sour in the mouth and with a good fruitiness ever-present. Another nice beer that I would have been highly unlikely to have tried were it not for someone cracking this open here. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Heavy sour/yeasty aroma. Earty and barnyrad notes. Really nice and complex. Heavy sour and moderate bitter flavor. Long great sour finish. Oily palate. I think this should be a sour not a saison.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, the head leaves some lacing. Aroma of wet hay, light spicyness and some petrol. Sourness and winous tartness. Rather well balanced but with complexity.
