A 0.5 l can, thanks Marjan! It poured a deep golden to amber body with a small head. Weak malty aroma. Flavor was, surprisingly, also only lightly sweet, a bit of sugar, honey and alcohol. Still well hidden of course. Medium body with shorter, bread and sugar finish, only lightly warming with a small bite only as it got warmed. Even watery on palate. Clean, dangerously drinkable, but also extremely empty and dull.

Can, thanks heavy (and I guess, Marjan)! Poured an old gold body with a small white head. Grain alcohol aroma. Empty taste, light malt, grain alcohol, light grain touches too, not cloying, dry astringent, reminiscent of cheap grappa in a way, just not tasty.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Clear gold beer with a small white head. Smooth palate. Fairly sweet malts. Whisper of citrus. Mild minerals. Finishes smooth and dry. Pretty inoffensive with no big off notes. Hides the abv well. Really not bad!

Can from Kenneth. It pours hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is sweet, doughy, icing sugar, candy and sweet apple. The taste is quite sweet, icing sugar, corn, cereal, apple and pear. Medium body and fine carbonation. Straight-forward, smooth and sweet. Quite clean actually. For a malt likka this is top notch!

Can at Bruce’s in London - massive thanks to Ken for sourcing this beast. Pours clear gold with a fine, foamy white head. Rich sugary bread in the aroma. Medium sweet flavor with dry bread, some corn, cereal. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish, slight metallic notes, bread, cereal. Pretty well balanced for a malt likka. Not at all cloying, not boozy. This is what a malt liquor should be.

Appearance: Golden color with fine white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Mild fruity, some alcohol and caramel malt.
Palate: Slightly sweet medium body with some bitterness. Moderate carbonation.
Flavor: Slightly sweet and mild fruity. Light alcohol and caramel malt.
Overall impression: My girlfriend wondered….aint that a muslim country. It is not allowed with alcohol there? Well I do not know. I am not religious. Absolutely a decent Malt Liquor. Mild and very easy drinkalble. Far better than the ones I have tasted from my neighbour country Sweden.

Medium white head. Clear yellow body. Light mealy paper aroma. Sweet-dryish mealy papery taste. Fullish body. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel. Sweetish alcohol and toffee aftertaste with cardboard notes. Awful. (0.5l can from wife.)

Can in Jordan. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Very similar to the 10% Petra. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Taste of sweet malt with some alcohol. Hops are hardly noticable. Not much bitterness. Surprisingly mild, and actually drinkable in my opinion. Slightly better than the 10% version. --- Beer merged from original tick of Petra 8% on 31 Dec 2011 at 21:43 - Score: 4
