Bottle from Cave a Bulles. Pours hazy orange/gold with a white head. Light fruity aroma which seems to include citrus. Med body. Flavor is fruit, some yeast/spice, arguably some malt that is not either pale or roasty, and bitter. There’s a lot of hop, but it’s not really harsh, and only slightly burning. It finishes bitter.

Bottle @ home. Golden to orange color, cloudy. Big, dense white head with retention throughout. Aroma’s: refereshing, fresh hops, citrus, fruity hops. Retronasal there’s additionally resin and citrus. Flavor is moderate bitter, but still rather mild. Light to medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Finishes with a long bitter flavor. Nice!

The beer is light orange with a medium white head, fine foam. The liquid is somewhat hazy. Sweet tangerine and pepper spice in the aroma. There’s a mild raisin sweetness. Very mild medicinal note. There’s an herbal flavor bouncing around. Taste is moderate to medium sweet with some grassy, peppery bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Not bad but there’s not much to recommend, either.

Lightly hazy gold beer, pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and a little soft. Modest fine carbonation. Light floralness and malt cream. Nice mild gueuzey sourness, very mild. Trace of soap, Airy dry crisp finish. All right.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, labeled as Schieve Tabarnak #2, ABV 6.3%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, some alcohol, malts, light fruity, grassy hops, reminds me of a good tripel. Flavour is medium sweet, light floral, malty, yeasty, light fruity, some honey, firm grassy bitter finish with some alcohol bite. Medium-bodied. Good.
