Upravo takav pristup krasio je groficu Alojziju Janković, rođ. Festetić (1765. - 1813.), drugu suprugu Ivana pl. Katarine (1804.) u naselju Gaj, u blizini Lipika.

Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, grassy hops, tropical fruit and herbal notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty good for the low ABV.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy copper pour, one finger creamy slightly off-white head. Very good retention, long lasting, leaving thick lacing on the glass as it goes down. Pleasant on the nose, herbal and decently hopped. Subtle citrus notes. Thin body, medium to high carbonation, slightly aggressive. Quite fizzy. A bit watery. Mild bitter taste with some fruity tart. Aroma of caramel malt, grains, herbs and spices. Fruity notes of citrus, mostly lemon and lime. Dry finish. Overall, decent APA let down by lack of body and watered down aroma. Packs enough flavor for the 4% ABV I guess. Ok session beer.

0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Hazy golden, small diminishing off-white head. Moderately hoppy, good balance, nice hoppy profile, citrusy and fruity. Picking up orange, peach, mango, some zest and some leaves. Malts underneath. Flavour not so pleasant. Citrusy, light oxidation, astringent, hops more than malts. A bit empty and light. Moderate carbonation. Light, moderately lasting dry finish. Some bitterness. A very good beginning for a new Slavonian brewery.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Slightly unclear golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, pleasant citrusy nose. Light malty, citrusy and tropical fruits with touch of mango in the finish. Bit thin but good one.

Bottle, courtesy of Marko B, thanks! Shared with heavy, Erna, Sandi ST & PriMarius. Hazy golden body. Lovely, clean, huge tropical fruit hoppy aroma, edged by some herbal touches, a huge surprise! The taste, however, doesn't follow suit fully, it's 4% after all. It's light, smooth, lightly tropical and critic, sweetish, and, actually quite chuggable. It's exactly what it pertains to be, and hats off for that to Slavonica - they did a very good job all things considered.
