12/IX/19 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Company (Gent), BB: n/a - (2019-1374)
Clear blond to orange beer, small irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: very floral, soapy, lavender, some marzipan, pretty weird, little fruity, some oranges. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit fruity, nothing bitter at all, floral, bit soapy, orange peel, weird, sweet impression. Aftertaste: fruity, but like effervescent vitamin tablets with artificial orange flavourings. Not a fan of this one… another brut IPA I don't like. I guess it's really not my thing?

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Hazy pale golden to golden, minimal head. Aroma is fruity, tropical, banana and mango, herbs, leaves, green tea. Has body, nice tart fruity flavour. No bitterness. Very drinkable, very dry. Very nice. Moderate carbonation. Light but lasting fruity finish. Might be the best Brut IPA so far.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of ripe tropical fruit, melon, peach, biscuit, white wine and barnyard. Pours hazy pale golden color with thin soapy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light to medium sweet grainy and faint fruity, following is vinous, peppery and medicinal, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Good one, San...

On tap at Reservoir Dogs tap takeover at Lajbah, Ljubljana. Pours extra hazy and pale straw coloured, topped with medium large and pretty lasting white foamy head. Very pleasant tropical aroma, lots of pineapple. Medium hoppy bitterness with decent dry feel, though there's some nice fruity presence to be felt as well. Bittery aftertaste. Fresh feeling and lighter body. A gentler brut take, but that's what I prefer.

15 August 2018. At Sir William's Pub, Ljubljana. Cheers to Anke!
Pours cloudy yellow with a lasting, small, foamy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of lemon, lime, bread, dough, grain, unripe tangerine. It tastes medium fruity sweet, bready, tangerine, a bit dough-like, and light to medium hoppy bitter, piney & peppery, faint sulphur in the back, touch of grains. Dry, peppery & piney hoppy finish, lingering dough, bit wry with some jenever alcohol. Medium body, slick/fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Tastewise not the best, but okay.

On tap at Fakin Zagreb. Unclear orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, spicy fruity nose. Moderate malty, fruity, spicy, light herbal hoppy and yeasty with mild notes of alcohol in the finish. Quite nice.

Tap at Fakin. Murky ochre, lasting white head. Enormous, huge tropical aroma, mango mainly, spicy touches in the background. Alcohol? Interesting taste, unique even, marzipan? Strange fruit? As it warms it gets slightly tropical.Bitterish touches. Quite drinkable, thanks to the brut body. Quite juicy too, though only in the mouthfeel, the taste just kinda doesn't fit... Dunno why but it feels close to excellence, yet not quite there.
