330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, cocoa powder, dusty, grassy-herbal, hoppy counterpart. Taste is slightly sweet, chocolately dark malty, notes of cocoa, a touch of treacle, bitter hoppy counterpart, cautious hints of plum.

Bottle shared by Cuso. Aroma lots of roasted, coffee, chocolate. Also fruity. Almost black colour. Intense yet balanced in flavour. Malt centered, also rather sweet but only slightly so. Lots of coffee and chocolate in flavour, also moderate dark fruits, light light liquorice.

Medium, beige head over deep brown beer with red highlights. Sweet-roasted, with a sharp burnt edge. Burnt meat, scorched vegetables or wool. Metalslag, coffeedrab. Sweet-roasted again, but milder than the nose. Finish is pure cold coffee. Malt, Ersatzcoffee. Full mouthfeel, even when probaly not heavily bodied. Medium carbonation. OK, but somehow I expected more.
