This is the latest in this brewery’s popular range of single-hop beers, brewed using solely pale malt and the single variety of New Zealand hops, resulting in a pale beer with an intriguing floral and lime character, plus a notable bitterness in the flavour.

On gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol, October 2013. Golden in colour with a slight, off-white head. Light, tropical fruits, slightly creamy malts and a decent, bitter finish. Ok.

Clear, pale blond. Aroma and flavour have soapy lime notes. The body is this but smooth and creamy. Light, dry finish.

Cask at the moon under water Watford jdw. Aroma is delicate lemon, light toast and tea. Clear golden colour with a persistent creamy white head. Palate is loose and watery. Light carbonation. Flavour is lacking, nothing off, but not much there. Nutty malt and lemon.

Cask handpull at Westgate Spoons Canterbury. Clear gold lasting white head. Perfumed hop aroma. Bit if rose turkish delight. Some harsh hop on finish. Well certainly interesting. Most hops I have had in a 4% Marston beer no doubt. Bit of tea. But ok ish

Golden with a small head. It’s dry hopped in aroma and texture with an understated fruitiness.

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear gold with a super tight, lasting white cream head. The aroma has some vague citrus fruits, a bit of white grape. Light sweet flavor with doughy pale malt sweetness, more white grapes, some orange merengue. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with creamy pale malts, more citrusy merengue, white grape. So so.
