Keg at the brewery. London Bimble. It pours deep amber with a small beige head. The nose is brown sugar, raisin, sultana, candy and sweet orange peel. The taste is bitter-sweet, syrupy, earthy, earthy, raisin, sultana, candy, orange peel and wood with a sweetish finish. Medium-full body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Not much depth for the style, but drinkable enough.

On tap at the brewery during the London Bimble. Pours a hazy amber russet. Some sweet raisins on the aroma. Some alcohol syrupyness but it hid the 9% pretty well. Sweet fruits some hop on the finish.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours cloudy amber with some floaties and a thick, tan cream head. The nose holds toasted wood, alcohol and dried fruits. Medium to big sweet flavor with some woody alcohol kick, dry earth, pine and leaves, dried berries, dry caramel. Full bodied with fine carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Subtly warming to finish with spirited woodiness, dried fruit and sturdy, leafy bitterness. Not bad.

Keg at the Warburton Street tap room, 19/11/13. Hazed dark amber with a moderate beige swirl, good lacing ensues. Nose is nutty, caramel, boozey waft, brown sugars, good layer of hoppiness, light tropical notes, candied orange peel. Taste comprises dark toffee, hoppy backnotes, booze coated tropical fruit medley, pine, bitter orange, candied sugars, red grapefruit. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, sweet closure. Decent hopped up barley wine, very drinkable, alcohol well integrated.

Keg at the brewery tap room. Hazed orange brown colour with a steadfast cream dense head. Aroma is caramel, bubble gum, some stressed out yeast esters. Flavour is quite sweet caramel, some headache hot alcohol. Some signs of stressed ferment. Slightly worth. Full bodied palate. Sweet finish.
