27th June 2015: 500ml can between five during the 2nd Annual Midlands tasting. Sometimes you need a mouth cleanser and beer break at a tasting and this came out after around 12 beers: we needed it. Cheers Tom for this offering; poured you regular lager/pilsner clear light, straw yellow with a full but swiftly fading white head. Mild malt ester or two in the nose, a light sweetness in the flavour: OK in a sort of weird way. Certainly not offensive or nasty: just a bog standard Supermarket cheap can of lager.

Can during 2nd Annual Midlands tasting group; clear straw yellow pour with a bubbly white head, malt and straw aroma, taste has a hint of fruit along with a wallop of skunk.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Some hangs around. Nose - light malt and lemon. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a thin body and then it finishes fairly abruptly. Overall - wishy washy.

440ml can from Sainsburys. Pours clear gold, short-lived thin white head. Aromas of light malt, light lemon. Taste is watery, faint herbs, maltsweet. Not a right lot going on here. Weird chalky finish.

Golden, no head. Tastes as bland as any beer of this type with a sweetness in its lager aroma and taste.

440ml can. Poor but inoffensive - like a church mouse - but lacking the cuteness. A boring looking straw colour with a white head; grainy aroma; watery body with a sweet grainy flavour; and a vaguely herbal taste to the finish. Boring.

440ml can. Pours gold with no head. Aroma is metallic and some fruity malt. Nothing to start. Fruity hops in the finish.
