Cask @ Picture House JDW, Colwyn Bay [281014]
Golden amber, crystal clear, thin white head
Aroma of soft light malts, soft fruits, nice soft zest, bit floral
Taste of soft tropical fruits, soft bitter hops, light malt background, nice soft fruits, dab of bitter orange, dab of grapefruit
Palate - Light body, sweet pale malts, light bitterness. Finish of lingering sweet citrus fruits, dab of tinned grapefruit
Overall - Quite liked this, seemed a bit under hopped, some residual sugar, but flavour was decent

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear, shiny yellow with a creamy white head. Pleasant aroma with some biacuity pale malts, rindy lemon and general citrus zest. Light-medium sweet with nicely roused dried citrus, more rind, moderate pale malt sugars, some hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation; good condition. Well balanced finish with further dry, crunchy pale malts, hay, lemon rind. Solid cask APA.
