Keg at the brewery, hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is nice mixed citrus fruit, pithy lemon, passion fruit lychee fruit salad. Some white bread on the nose. Flavour is composed of grainy base malts, wheat, pithy citrus, some florals notes, honeysuckle. Dry chalky finish. Palate is slightly grainy, moderate carbonation, mineral. Good.

On tap at The Hop & Berry Islington. Hazy gold lasting off white head. tropical fruit aroma. Tropical fruit in the mouth that is really quite exciting. it’s got some earthiness to it but it’s still pretty impressive. too carbonated. Too fizzy. But first day of pub. Man you need to loose the carbonic acid on this beer. Tropical fruit is good though.

Keg at the Brick Brewery, 28/06/14, Amarillo; Chinook; Magnum. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering that dissipates to edgework. Nose is earthy hops, bitter citrics, orange pith, spice, light mineral notes. Taste comprises earthy citric rinds, bitter orange, chalky mineral wash, citric pithdom, light bread dough, melon, hint of pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop dusting. Decent enough SIPA, plenty of flavour for the ABV.

Keg at Brick. It pours lightly hazy golden orange with a small white head. The nose is juicy tangerine, orange, sherbet, light brioche and faint toast. The taste is crisp, bitter, tangerine, orange peel, grapefruit and touch of underlying sweetness with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Superb balance and high drinkability. Great work from this new brewery!
