Gravity cask at Craft 100 beer festival - Clapham, London. Pours brown with a fine, bubbly off-white head. Really well rounded stuff. Lots of balanced chocolate, burnt marshmallows, mild bourbon and wood. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Finishes with moderate roasted malts, baking cocoa, milk chocolate and light earthy bitterness. Solid.

The taste is toasted malt, toast, earth, whiskey, vanilla, medicinal, liquorice and spice with a dry, lingering spicy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well-integrated bourbon. Nice.

Cask @ Sheffield Tap [171013]
Drk brown, clear, dense tan head, some lacing
Aroma - Soft roast, some minerals, light aroma
Taste of rich dark malts, soft dark chcolate, touch of whisky, soft barral aging, soft bitter roast
Palate - Medium body, quite creamy. Finish of bitter dark chocolate, dark creamy malts, fairly bitter roast tail, touch of alcohol
Overall - Came across as a strong stout rather than an imperial stout.
